Lifecycle management

Lifecycle Management provides automated Teams users management. The exact feature set varies depending on the Teams tenant license:

• Hosted Essential + license supports only Lifecycle Management Templates that are applied manually. This allows you to assign phone numbers to multiple Teams users as a bulk operation, via the CSV file, instead of editing users one by one via the portal.

• Hosted Pro license supports creation of multiple Lifecycle Management templates that can be assigned, based on Azure Active Directory security group membership. Users added to a specific security group may be automatically enabled for Microsoft Teams and have policies and telephony settings (e.g., phone numbers) applied based on the defined “persona” templates. Multiple phone number assignment policies are supported individually, from a predefined numbers range from specific Active Directory fields.
